Marvelous Marfa

Recently, I've noticed a whole lot of marfa inspired home goods popping up around shops & boutiques. I can honestly say that I've never been out west to see or visit "real" Marfa, Texas, but these inspirations have me longing for a trip. What do you think of the marfa trend?

Will you be adding a touch of the West to your home?

Monday, My Day

Hello Loves! I hope you all had a fantastically relaxing weekend with family and friends while enjoying a heaping pile of food (and let's be honest, CANDY!) for Easter. Ours was spent in that very way, and I could not have asked for a better weekend. Now onto Monday, My Day goodness. I've been hinting at a few announcements around here recently, and I am finally ready to share them with you!

First, I hope that you've caught on by now, but for the past few weeks I've been honing my writing skills over at Mainly Southern. Mainly Southern is a place where you will find delightful restaurant reviews, beautiful destinations, and of course, little me bringing you features left and right of southern business men and women that inspire me to no end. Recently I've featured Pink House Press, Kluster Jewelry, and Lettermade. Up next? The lovely Evelyn Henson. Keep it bookmarked!

available here
I've also been working with Julie Bee's, a local Atlanta shoe designer doing a bit of their social media outreach. I would love it if you would head over and like their Facebook page, (and follow them on Twitter & Instagram). The company has absolutely fabulous shoes and a female CEO and founder at its helm. Please follow along!

Other than spend time with family this weekend and do a little Julie Bee's work, I also did some serious online shopping. What can I say? I see the word sale and my credit card practically makes purchases for me! I snapped up a pair of these nude wedges to wear to a wedding this summer, happened to grab this punchy top, and may or may not be expecting these at my doorstep soon. I am in dire need of closet updating, and with the awesome sale prices, I don't feel too bad about the purchases.

That's all the updating I have for you today, but I'd love to hear what you've been up to!

Friday's Fancies: Easter Style

In my family, we always got a new outfit for Easter Sunday. Sometimes it came in our Easter baskets, and sometimes we went shopping weeks in advance. It always made heading to Easter mass even more exciting for us kids. I didn't get a new outfit this year, but if I had, it might have looked a little something like the one below. Spring colors, beautiful baubles, and a fabulous patterned bag.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family & loved ones!

Moore Fiesta with Kate Aspen

A few weekends ago I headed to Charleston with a few of my very best girls to celebrate our friend, Lindsay. We spent the entire weekend sipping on margaritas, tossing back corn chips, and having a belly-laughing good time. We even took an Aerial Yoga class, and if you're in the Charleston area, I highly recommend it; we had a blast!

The weekend would not have been complete without a stellar place to stay. We rented condos in Folly Beach, and the decor was definitely on par for our fiesta theme, don't you think? Poms & tissue paper flowers set the tone while a weekend hashtag was displayed just about everywhere (you know, in case someone forgot it).

Kate Aspen provided us with some chic votive candles for the table as well as adorable swing top bottles for favors. As a last little touch, I filled each bottle with margarita flavored jelly belly's for a parting gift. It was muy cute ;)

Karen Adams Designs

I cannot even explain the excitement that I have for this post today. When Karen Adams Designs contacted me to feature their designs on the blog I was elated, thrilled, and humbled all at the same time. Karen Adams wants to work with me? Little ol' me? I. am. so. in!

If you don't know Karen Adams Designs, allow me to formally introduce you. Karen Adams Designs specializes in stationary and paper gifts, but to me, the company is more than just a simple correspondence here and there; it's about a paper lifestyle. Let me explain: Karen Adams' paper is chic and sophisticated with just a touch of lady-like elegance. Every piece of stationery sparkles...literally. There are little flecks of glitter on each piece; it's the signature mark of the brand. Not to mention that there is something for your every paper need. Looking for a baby card? KAD has you covered. What about a thank you note? Yes, they have that, too. Need a gift for the girl who has it all? Try a calendar

The brand has a lot of big things happening in May, and they were more than happy to share a few of the top secret details with me a tad before the official release. The next things we can expect from Karen Adams? A coloring book geared toward the child in each of us complete with coloring pencils to go with it. Brilliant!

Karen Adams Designs paper is a must have for the stationary & snail mail enthusiast. Treat yourself to a little something today!

Karen Adams gifted me a few of the products seen here for this post, however I truly love their work. In fact, I already owned their calendar (seen above) before they reached out to me; a sign of a perfect partnership!

Friday's Fancies: Masters Style

In culmination of Masters week here on the blog (totally unintentional yet completely inspirational), I have a cute little outfit that a golf enthusiast could easily wear to this weekend's events. Make sure you have a comfy pair of shoes, a durable bag, and of course, a hat to finish off the look.

We're enjoying a visit from my brother-in-law & future sister-in-law this weekend, so we'll be out and about enjoying the Atlanta sights. Check in next week for some pretty exciting features & announcements! Cheers to the weekend, y'all!

Masters Week: Caps

Y'all know there's more to the Masters than just pimento cheese, right? There's tradition, legend, and even style. It's hard to dress for the weather while also keeping cool in the heat, but in the spirit of the tournament, I've rounded up a few of my favorite caps fit for a golf outing. A hat is absolutely necessary when attending Augusta National to keep your skin protected and your head cool after hours in the sun. I love these options; so much better than the traditional yellow and green (which let's be honest, isn't the prettiest combination).
